serving families throughout Palatka and Putnam County. At the heart of our practice

Stephen L. Beckett
DDS
Practicing in Palatka for over 50 years
Dr. Beckett first earned a pharmacy degree at the University of Florida before pursuing
his passion for dentistry at Emory University, where he received his Doctor of Dental
Surgery. He then served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, where he honed his leadership
and clinical skills.
For over 50 years, he has proudly practiced dentistry in Palatka, offering compassionate
care to generations of patients. He is an active member of the Florida Dental Association
and the Gator Club, and a proud supporter of the Florida Gators. Away from the office,
he enjoys spending time with his two children and five grandchildren — and he is
passionate about golf.
Drew B. Wilburn
DMD
Born and raised in Putnam County · A proud “double Gator”
Dr. Drew has made it her mission to serve the Putnam County community where she was born
and raised. A proud double Gator, she earned both her undergraduate degree in Nutrition
and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida — a foundation in
both nutrition and dentistry that shapes care emphasizing not only oral health, but
overall wellness.
Her very first appointment with Dr. Beckett was as a newborn; he has been her mentor and
family friend throughout her life, and she now serves the same community that supported
her growing up, with a gentle, patient-first approach. She volunteers at SAFE Animal
Sanctuary in Hollister, Florida, is happily married, and shares her home with two cats
and one dog.

Dana DeLoach, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist · On the team since 1994
Dana has been an integral part of our team since 1994, bringing over 30 years of experience
in dental hygiene. A Santa Fe College graduate, she is known for her warm, compassionate care,
her commitment to oral health education, and the lasting relationships she has built with her
patients. Outside the office she loves anything that involves the water — boating,
fishing, or simply enjoying time near it — and spending time with her three sons and
three grandchildren, her pride and joy.

Beth Martin
Expanded Duties Assistant · Joined in 2005
Beth is an experienced Expanded Duties Assistant with over 30 years of dedication to the
dental field. Originally from Plantation, Florida, she joined Dr. Beckett’s team in 2005
and is a graduate of Nova Dental Assisting School in Miami. In addition to her work at the
office, Beth is a proud pet mom and enjoys volunteering within the dental community, helping
to support education and outreach initiatives.

Leslie Wilkinson, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist · On the team since 1992
Leslie has been a dedicated member of Dr. Beckett’s dental team since 1992. A graduate
of Santa Fe College (Class of 1986), she brings over three decades of experience and a warm,
personable approach that makes her a favorite among patients. She has lived in Putnam County
for most of her life and is the daughter of Judge Boyles and Sally Boyles. She is the proud
mother of four and grandmother of five who lovingly call her “G” — and she
cherishes life with her husband, Moochie.

Sabrena Wilson, CDA
Certified Dental Assistant · On the team since 2005
Sabrena has been an integral part of the team since 2005, working alongside Dr. Beckett and
Dr. Drew. She began her career in dentistry in 1993 and graduated from Concorde Career
Institute in 1996 as a Certified Dental Assistant, bringing over 30 years of experience to
her role. Happily married since 1991, she is a proud mother to one son and dog mom to two.
In her free time she enjoys cooking, yard work, and traveling the United States.

Tisha Wilburn
Practice Manager · Returned in 2022
Tisha returned to her dental roots in 2022: she first worked 16 years with Dr. Beckett,
gaining extensive experience in patient care and office management, then dedicated 18 years
to public education before coming back to the practice. Her passion for helping others shows
in her personal life too — she is an active volunteer at SAFE Animal Sanctuary in
Hollister, Florida, and a proud mother to a daughter.

A note on insurance
Our practice is out of network with all insurance plans except Delta Dental PPO
and Premier plans — a choice we’ve made on purpose, because our priority
is you and your oral health, not insurance companies.
“Although our office is not in network with your dental insurance, you can absolutely
still use your benefits here. We’ll help you get the most out of your plan by filing all
claims for you and ensuring you receive the maximum reimbursement allowed by your policy.
Many of our patients choose to stay with us even out of network because they value our care
and the continuity of their treatment. Often, the difference in cost is smaller than people
expect—especially for preventive services like cleanings and exams.”
Quality of care comes firstInsurance limits don’t always align with what is best for your health. Staying out of network lets us recommend the treatment that’s truly needed — not what a plan dictates.

We still file your insuranceEven though we are not in network, we will gladly file your insurance claims as a courtesy. Most patients still receive benefits and partial reimbursement directly from their insurance company.
